Parties For Adults & Hen Parties
Hen parties or friend groups, a cupcake decorating party is a great idea for a fun activity out of the norm. Parties are held at our vibrant venue in central Chelmsford and we have a full service bar offering including barista coffees, teas, matcha and soft drinks as well as a wide range of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails. Everything you need is provided from use of tools and equipment, boxes and bags to transport your cakes.
Hen Parties
Pass the time at our bakery and cafe bar where we’ll keep the bubbly flowing whilst showing you all how to make gorgeous cakes that are tasty too. Alternatively let us come to you! We travel to some local counties with our mobile parties either in your own home or party venue.

Numbers & Prices
We run group sessions for 8 –16 people at our Chelmsford shop, or any suitable number at your own external venue. Party length and activities can be adapted to suit, however a typical format at our shop would be as follows costing £35 per person, and lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours depending on the number of people in attendance:
– arrivals / drinks service
– presentation box per person of 6 ready-made cupcakes
– decoration / flower making / icing modelling
– colouring & flavouring buttercream icings
– piping in different styles
– applying decorations
– finishing touches, sprinkles & sparkles
Parking & Travel
Parties are held at our bakery and cafe bar conveniently located in the viaducts at Chelmsford station. There are multiple options for both public transport and parking all within a stones throw. On booking we will send you a confirmation email with details of all the options.
Party At Home?
Your venue must have a sink facilities and be able to accommodate all of your guests seated at a table. We will bring all equipment, cakes, icings, tools etc for use at the party, plus patisserie bags and boxes for your guests to transport the cakes away in at the end. Travel is charged, please supply a post code on enquiry.

Please contact us to check the date you would like to book your party. Availability is limited so early booking is recommended! We take a £95 deposit to secure a date for your party and we will require you to give us an approximate number of attendees at the time of booking with the balance due a week before your party.

Ages & Numbers
We run group sessions for 8 – 14 children for a cupcake decorating party at our Chelmsford cafe bar, or any other number that you can accommodate at your home or venue (see below). The content of the cake classes will be adapted to suit average age and ability.
Timings & Format
Party length and activities can be adapted, however a typical format for parties at our shop lasting 1.5 hours (or 1 hour 45 minutes if you choose to add the food option) is below:
– arrivals

Pricing
Parties are a set price of £250 for up to 8 children and further children can be added for a discounted rate of £20 per child up to the maximum number. This includes all pre-prepared cupcakes, use of all tools and equipment, and boxes and bags to transport home - no need to bring anything!
Parking & Travel
Our venue has multiple parking options all within a short walk. We will send you details of these in your confirmation email following booking.
Supervision
For parents wishing to wait on site you are welcome to use any spare seating and we also have a large area of standing space. An assortment of hot and cold drinks are available to purchase at the bar.

Drinks
Squash for children is provided free of charge. A wider range of drinks is available to purchase at our bar on the day. Please note only food and drink purchased from us may be consumed on the premises.
Food Option (if applicable, extra £5 per child to be ordered minimum 7 days in advance)
Food bags will contain a sandwich/roll, biscuits, fruit snack and crisps. The sandwich filling choices are ham, cheese or jam. Please let us know how many of each filling you would like a week before the party so we can order supplies please. If we don't receive the choices we will provide an even mix of fillings which can be distributed on the day. Please note only food and drink purchased from us may be consumed on the premises.

(Our availability is limited and constantly changing therefore early booking is highly recommended! Due to the large number of enquiries for a limited number of dates we are unable to hold dates until you are ready to leave a deposit.)
What to bring
Everything is provided for the class and the cupcakes will be in their own presentation box with special bags for transporting home. You may bring your own cake if wish to sing at the end of the session, this does not need to be purchased from us but if you'd like to submit an order enquiry please send details through re design and we will check capacity.
Venue Decoration
Weighted balloon clusters may be placed on the tables and there is a long ledge table for present placing. Banners or any other decorations may not be fixed to our walls or any other furniture.

Terms & Conditions
A £95 deposit is required to secure the date for your party. When you book a party with us we will often turn down other customers who enquire about bookings on the same date therefore deposits are non refundable under any circumstances and cannot be transferred to other courses or dates. We recommend leaving your deposit as soon as possible as dates are not held on enquiries until this deposit is received. You may decrease or increase your attendee numbers after booking however this number must not fall below our minimum number of 8 people in total. Increases in numbers may be possible please just let us know as soon as possible. The balance of your party will be due a week before based on your final numbers. Late arrivals will need to join the class at the point at which they arrive and we regret we are unable to repeat course content due to lateness. There is a 15 minute grace period to wait for late attendees after which the course will commence with the attendees that have arrived. For no shows or late cancellations we will provide you with the absent attendees cakes fully decorated to take away with you as these will have already been prepared. Please note only drinks purchased from us may be consumed on site. Dietary requirements – surcharge of £5 per person, please contact us to discuss allergies and if adding the children's food option at the end of the party.
